Men Need to Step Up to the Plate

Men Protect the Feminists, Which is Why They Won’t Go Away

So my last post caused a lot of controversy, not only from feminists, but also from certain men.

By “certain men” I mean a growing breed of effeminate men that are cowardly, lazy, submissive and pandering towards women.

Oddly enough, the vast majority of Catholic women that read my article loved it.

Also, masculine men loved it as well.

But it was crystal clear that the people that criticized my article never actually read past the title.

Those people that criticized me did so because of the fact that I criticized feminism in the first place.

They straw manned me and told everyone that I was advocating for slavery of women to men.

If you actually read my article on feminism, and you should, it’s obvious that this is a lie.

But that’s what we are dealing with here:

Satan corrupts these people and turns them into liars in order to preserve his disorder.

God created the order of God, then the Priesthood, then men, then women, then children.

And the Evil One wants to have children disobey their parents and wives to usurp their husbands and become priests.

While all of this is happening, the Devil is tempting men to be soft, submissive, lazy, and effeminate.

The result is a society where kids are disobedient and becoming ever more corrupted by degeneracy.

While the wives are doing all the working and wearing the pants, and the children suffer, these effeminate men say:

“Happy wife, happy life!”

This is the dogma of the ineffective effeminate man.

Men

The Role of Men

First, instead of being the leaders of the household, these effeminate men would rather watch sportsball or play vidyagames.

Yet, God wills the men to be the leaders.

We covered the submission of women (and children) to men in the last post.

It follows from that (and this is Catholic teaching) that men are to be the leaders.

(Please read the last post for sources regarding this Church teaching).

Moreover, instead of taking their role as a provider seriously, effeminate men are fine with their wives being the providers.

However, God commanded men to be the providers.

Likewise, instead of protecting women from Satanic ideas, these effeminate men defend evil ideas, like feminism.

Contrary to this, God gave men the role of the protectors.

Finally, God commands men to love their wives.

Men are to be the Providers

God gave men the role of the provider for his family.

This has been true since The Fall.

In Genesis 3:17, The Bible says:

And to Adam he said: Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat, cursed is the earth in thy work; with labour and toil shalt thou eat thereof all the days of thy life.

Genesis 3:17

So it is clear by reading this passage that God commanded men to provide for the needs of the family.

In his encyclical, Rerum Novarum, Pope Leo XIII writes:

It is a most sacred law of nature that a father should provide food and all necessaries for those whom he has begotten; and, similarly, it is natural that he should wish that his children, who carry on, so to speak, and continue his personality, should be by him provided with all that is needful to enable them to keep themselves decently from want and misery amid the uncertainties of this mortal life.

Rerum Novarum

In other words, God created men to be the providers of the family.

Additionally, Pope Pius XI writes in his encyclical Quadragesimo Anno:

In the first place, the worker must be paid a wage sufficient to support him and his family…Mothers, concentrating on household duties, should work primarily in the home or in its immediate vicinity…Every effort must therefore be made that fathers of families receive a wage large enough to meet ordinary family needs adequately.

Quadragesimo Anno

In conclusion, the Church has ruled that men are to be the providers of the family.

Men are to be the Protectors

God gave men the role of the protector of his family.

The best example of the protector role in the Bible is that of St. Joseph taking his family to Egypt to in order to save Jesus from Herod.

In Matthew 2:13-15, The Bible says:

And after they were departed, behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph, saying: Arise, and take the child and his mother, and fly into Egypt: and be there until I shall tell thee. For it will come to pass that Herod will seek the child to destroy him. Who arose, and took the child and his mother by night, and retired into Egypt: and he was there until the death of Herod: That it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet, saying: Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Matthew 2:13-15

So if you notice what happens in this passage, the angel comes to St. Joseph.

Now it is clear Catholic teaching that the Blessed Mother is the greatest of all the Saints.

However, St. Joseph, as husband and father, is the leader and protector of the family.

As men, we are responsible for both the physical and spiritual protection of our families.

We should protect our families physically by having guns, concealed carry permits security systems, and knowing martial arts.

Likewise, we should protect our families spiritually by blessing our homes, taking our family to Mass and leading prayer.

Men

Men are to Love Their Wives

God commands men to love their wives.

In Ephesians 5:25-30, St. Paul writes:

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it: That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish. So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church: Because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Ephesians 5:25-30

Moreover, in Colossians 3:19 he says:

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter towards them.

Colossians 3:19

Likewise, in the New Testament, our first Pope, St. Peter writes in 1 Peter 3:7:

Ye husbands, likewise dwelling with them according to knowledge, giving honour to the female as to the weaker vessel, and as to the co-heirs of the grace of life: that your prayers be not hindered.

1 Peter 3:7

Another word the Bible uses for “love” is charity.

But what is charity?

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 St. Paul says:

Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never falleth away.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

In other words, God calls men to be loving husbands and not tyrants.

Concluding Thoughts

Thus far, I have shown that it is the will of God that men be the leaders, providers, and protectors.

Also, God commands men to be loving leaders of their families, and not tyrants.

I will conclude this article by sharing some personal experiences in my own life.

First, how my dad provided for our family has always moved me.

My father has been a blue collar factory worker my whole life, thus far.

When I was a young boy he would work overtime on Fridays.

Many times he wouldn’t get home until I was in bed.

Not seeing my dad on Friday evenings was a bummer, but now I realized this was an act of sacrificial love.

Just like Christ sacrificed Himself by dying on the Cross for us – my dad, in his love for us, sacrificed what he wanted to do to make sure he provided for us.

My dad sacrificed to provide for my mom, my brother and I.

Sacrificial love is the calling of real men.

Likewise, now that I am a husband, I see it as my duty to provide for my own family.

I am not trying to exalt myself, but I do see it as my duty to be the provider.

In conclusion, I am doing my best to practice what I preach in this article.

Am I perfect?

No.

We are all sinners.

Hopefully, we can work as men to help each other become the loving leaders, providers, and protectors we are called to be.
